Scientific show of Michael Londesborough had success in Bratislava again!

Scientific show of Michael Londesborough prepared the National Centre for the Popularisation of Science and Technology in Society a department of the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information of SR within the project PoPVaT - Promotion of Science and Technology in Slovakia.  On 28^th April 2015, Michael Londesborough presented two phenomenal scientific shows. The has started the first series of these shows. He introduced himself at the premises of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (Aula of prof. Kneppo).

The second scientific show with specific name Spies, rocket fuels, drugs and microelectronics: the amazing chemistry of boranes! was organized for university students and specialized public. Do you ask, what are the boranes? The answer to the question is probably familiar to all visitors of the event. Boranes are compounds consisting boron and hydrogen. However, visitors have also a knowledge about the first century of their research (full of espionage), a mysterious rocket fuels, semiconductor, microelectronics. Michael said that at the end of the lecture, he wants us to become "experts on boranes."

If you did not participate on the show, do not despair. Both scientific shows will step by step present in every region of Slovakia. Next time, on 12^nd May 2015m Michael Londesborough will present his show in Žilina, in the premises of the University of Žilina. (Aula no. 5, 1 Univerzitná 1).
